Kali Collection Report – 14 Days
Kali, the Dulquer Salman-Sai Pallavi film directed by Sameer Thahir has completed 2 weeks in theaters here in Kerala. The film which took a bumper opening of 5 cr+ in the first 3 days had dropped down later but maintained a decent collection on holidays and night shows at Multiplexes.
The 3rd week of the film in theaters had begun and still holding on to almost 81 screens. It had released in more than 110 screens and already lost 30+ screens in 2 weeks. As per the reports that came from the trade pandits from our industry, the 14 day gross of the film from Kerala is near 11.8 cr.

The flick had earned around 10 cr in 11 days and from the last 3 days it had earned only around 1.8 cr and it shows the rate of drop it had suffered after the release of Dileep starrer film King Liar, which is going great at box office. Last day, Nivin Pauly film directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan named Jacobinte Swargarajyam also released and getting great reviews. It is also a great family movie and now it is almost sure that the family will decide upon whether to watch King Liar or Jacobinte Swargarajyam this vacation.
The lack of support from family support drops the collection of Kali, but with its huge first weekend and the gross it had ow, it already achieved a hit status.
