Aadu 2 will have a different episode from Shaji Pappan’s life

Recently we had reported that the sequel of Jayasurya’s Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviyanu is happening. The announcement was made by the actor himself through his official Facebook page.

Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviyanu, released in 2015 was Midhun Manuel Thomas’ debut directorial. Though the movie was a commercial failure, it found popularity among the masses soon after the DVD release.

Recently, Jayasurya who played the character Shaji Pappan explained the thought process behind the sequel, in an interview with Times Of India. “Aadu received mostly criticism from reviewers. But after the DVD release, people started loving the movie, so we even re-released the film recently. My character in the film, protagonist Shaji Pappan, became such a hit that we were forced to think of a sequel.”

With the characters from the first part becoming such a rage among the youngsters, the team will have a huge burden of expectations for the new movie. But Jayasurya has assured that they will come up with something better.

According to the director, Aadu 2 will be a colourful mass action comedy. The movie will have another episode of Shaji Pappan’s life. All the actors, who were part of Shaji Pappan and team, will be retained. Interestingly, this movie will have more action as Shaji Pappan’s long standing back ache has now been cured.

The first part had a host of supporting actors like Vijay Babu, Saiju Kurup, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Sunny Wayne, Vinayakan, Bhagath Manuel, Indrans, Renji Panicker, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sandra Thomas, Aju Varghese, Srinda Arhaan, Swathi Reddy etc. The movie was a complete laugh riot revolving around Shaji Pappan and his team and the goat Pinky.

Aadu 2 will be produced by Vijay Babu, who also produced the first part, under his banner Friday Film House. The movie will go on floors in August and is scheduled to hit screens for Christmas this year.
