Alphonse Puthren is now one of the most sought after and valuable director in Mollywood with recent success he had with his film Premam starring Nivin Pauly and a group of newcomers along with Vinay Fort, Soubin Sahir etc. His first film Neram was also a super hit film tarring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim and Premam was his second film only. The flick is now one of the biggest success in Mollywood after Drishyam and Bangalore Days. If the ongoing piracy issue did not happened the film may have broken at least the record of Bangalore Days and can come to the second place in the list after the Mohanlal starrer Jeethu Joseph film Drishyam which is miles ahead of the second spot Bangalore days.
But now reports coming in which says that Alphonse Puthren is all set to do his next film that too without Nivin Pauly for the first time. But what makes it a big news is that the male lead of that flick will be mega star Mammootty himself. Report says that Mammootty had given dates to Alphonse Puthren and Mammootty’s own production company Play House will finance this film. The shoot of the film is planned to begin from next year first month and Alphonse Puthren is already started the script work of the film reportedly.
This report is not an official one as there was no confirmation from anyone mentioned in this news had come out till now. It is just a report came out through some sources in the industry. One week back there is also a news spreading that Alphonse Puthren’s next one will be with the complete actor Mohanlal and everyone was waiting for the confirmation of that news as Alphons Puthran is a great admirer and self- proclaimed fan of Mohanlal. And adding to that this report about the Mammootty film also came out. Now everyone hoping that the director himself will confirm on which will be his next one and who will be the lead in that flick.
