Baahubali 2 beats Dangal and Sultan
SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has opened to phenomenal response from the audience across the globe. The movie is getting rousing reception in all the centres with houseful shows all over.
According to report from trade sources, Baahubali 2 has broken all pre-existing records for the opening day figures of an Indian movie. It has reportedly grossed more than Rs 100 crores from all four languages- Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
The Hindi verison alone is reported to have grossed Rs 55 crores which is an all time record. The movie has pipped the likes of Bollywood biggies like Salman Khan’s Sultan (Rs 36 cr) and Aamir Khan’s Dangal (Rs 29.5 cr).
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s tweet reads,

Dangal, released in December last year is currently second in the highest grossing Indian films of all time raking in a worldwide business of around Rs 700 crores. Salman Khan’s Sultan was also a sensational success registering around 500 crores.
Baahubali 2 The Conclusion is expected to do an overall business of Rs 1000 crores. If the movie manages to cross the landmark, it will be the first Indian movie ever to achieve the rare feat. Going by the tremendous opening it is almost certain that Baahuabli 2 will breach the mark.
