Baahubali 2 got record satellite rights from Sony TV
Baahubali 2 is now in the final stages of its filming and SS Rajamouli and team going all guns blazing to make it the best ever cinematic experience on Indian screen.
They are trying all their way to make it better and bigger than the first part and no compromises are there on the quality of the movie. So the budget is going very high as well for the sequel.
But it seems that they will recover major share of the cost through selling distribution and other rights of the movie even before the release.
Now, the film had got a record satellite right from Sony TV for showing the Hindi version on Mini Screen. Reports says that Sony TV had bought the rights to air the Hindi version of the movie for 51 crore+ rupees.

The first part of the movie had got 45 crores as satellite right. This 51 crore is the highest ever satellite right got by an Indian regional movie as well. The first part of the film was bought by Star India.
Reports saying that there is huge competition to get the overseas rights of the movie as well. More than 50 crores has been offering by many teams and it is not sold yet.
The film will hit the screens on the 28th of April next year and expected to become an all-time biggest blockbuster in India.
