Baby Shamili to start off as actress in Malayalam too

Baby Shamili who graced the Mollywood industry with her never-ending sweetness and cuteness is back to Mollywood with her actress avatar. Like her sister, Shamili is also starting her career with none other than Kunchacko Boban, the chocolate hero of Mollywood. The movie is titled as Vallim Thetti Pullim Thetti, directed by Rishi Sivakumar.

Mollywood has seen this child actors to actress revolution from the beginning itself they are Kavya Madhavan, Shalini, Manjima, Sanusha and now on the roll we have Shamili. And to create a hype about the movie the co-stars Kunchacko Boban and Aju Varghese recently posted a poster revealing Shamili’s eyes from the movie and conveyed that this is our actress. Many in social media has already confirmed it to be Shamili. Through this movie debutant director Rishi Sivakumar is also getting launched. Sooraj S Kurup is the Music Director and the Cinematography is handled by Kunjunni S Kumar who is the son of S Kumar, famous Cinematographer. Kunjunni has also worked in Mohanlal’s movie Loham.

In the movie Shamili is portraying the role of Kunchacko Boban’s wife. Since the character is said to be residing from Chennai, Shamili will not be speaking Malayalam in the movie. She is playing the character of arrogant nature and will be presented in a retro style. In 1997 it was Shalini who started off with Aniyathi Pravu opposite Kunchacko Boban and now it’s Shamili’s chance to take off her career in Mollywood with Vallim Thetti Pullim Thetti movie. After her studies in Singapore Shamili has thought of entering the cinema industry. In 2009, she has appeared opposite Siddharth in Oy which was an average success in Telugu. Shamili is also appearing in a flick opposite Dhanush in Tamil as per reports.

Shamili’s notable performances as a child artist were in Anjali and Malootty in which she got the National Award and Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Child Artist for Anjali in 1990 and Kerala State Award for Best Child Artist for Malootty in 1992 respectively. She has been that hearthrob of South Indian movies that Shamili was truly loved as Baby Shamili and her return as an actress is a much awaited news. Hope she marks her place in the industry with her performance in Vallim Thetti Pullim Thetti.
