Biju Menon joins Suresh Gopi’s Ottakomban
Suresh Gopi’s 250th film titled ‘Ottakkomban’ is gearing up to go on floors. It will be directed by debutant Mathew Thomas and produced by Tomichan Mulakkupadam. The makers are currently busy with the final set of pre-production works which includes finalizing the cast and crew. Last day, they announced that Biju Menon will be playing a major role in the film. Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon have acted together in numerous films in the past. Some of the most popular films include ‘Pathram’, ‘Chinathamani Kola Case’ and ‘FIR’.
‘Ottakkomban’ is a big-scale project planned to be made on a budget of Rs 25 crores. It is scripted by Shibin Francis of ‘CIA’ and ‘Paavada’ fame. The film will have a Bollywood-based heroine and a villain. Others in the supporting cast include Mukesh, Sai Kumar, Renji Panicker, Johny Antony, Sudhi Koppa and KPAC Lalitha.
On the technical front, Shaji Kumar of ‘Pulimurugan’ fame will be handling the camera. Music director Harshavardhan Rameshwar, noted for his work in the blockbuster Telugu film ‘Arjun Reddy’, is making his Malayalam debut with this film.
