Actor Prithviraj’s maiden film as a director ‘Lucifer’, starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead, is gearing up for release. Easily one of the most awaited Malayalam films in recent years, Lucifer is expected to hit screens on March 28. With only a month away from release, promotions are commencing in full swing from this week. A new poster featuring Mohanlal has been released today. From tomorrow onwards, the makers will be releasing character posters for the next 26 days.
‘Lucifer’ scripted by Murali Gopy is routed to be a mass action-packed political entertainer. Mohanlal plays a big shot politician, Stephen Nedumbally in the movie. Along with him, the movie also has some other big stars like Tovino Thomas, Vivek Oberoi, Indrajith Sukumaran and Manju Warrier.

‘Lucifer’ also has an elaborate supporting cast comprising of Kalabhavan Shajohn, Sachin Khedekar, Saniya Iyyappan, Sai Kumar, Nandu, John Vijay, director Fazil, Sunil Sughatha, Thara Kalyan, Praveena Thomas and Maala Parvathy. Cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev, composer Deep Dev and editor Samjith Mohammed form the core technical core. The movie is being produced by Mohanlal’s own banner Aashirvad Cinemas.
