Check out the second look poster of Suraj Venjaramoodu’s Kuttanpillayude Sivarathri

Of late, Suraj Venjaramoodu has been doing a lot of performance-oriented roles and ‘Kuttanpillayude Sivarathri’ is the latest one coming from him. Suraj plays the lead role of a senior police constable in this intense family drama. The movie’s second look poster was released today through their official Facebook page.

Kuttanpillayude Sivarathri promises to bring to fore the amazing actor in him once again. He plays the role of Plachottil Kuttan Pillai, a 58-year-old police constable. ‘Angels’ fame Jean Markose is directing this movie, scripted by newcomer Joselet Joseph.

The core plot of this movie is centred around a series of events that happen in Kuttan Pillai’s house when his relatives – his children, their spouses and extended family – converge at his humble home to attend the annual Shiva Rathri festival. He isn’t happy with their visit as he is concerned about his monthly budget constraints. Suraj’s frowned face in the newly released poster suggets the same. Kuttan Pillai is a peculiar character with a lot of shades to him. It will be very interesting to see Suraj’s portrayal of such a challenging character.

Noted playback singer Sayanora Philip is turning a music director with this movie. Fazil Nazer is the cinematographer and Shibish K Chandran is the editor. Raji Nandakumar is producing Kuttanpillayude Sivarathri under the banner of Alanghat Productions.
