Arun Vijay, of late, has been very choosy and the results are there to be seen. The first look poster of his new film ‘Boxer’ was released last day and the actor looks stunningly fit in it. He has invested over nine months for the movie to learn boxing and perfect his physique. He trained in traditional boxing under the guidance of renowned stunt choreographer Peter Hein. Arun Vijay also went to Vietnam to train in mixed martial artists, where he was trained by Johnny Tri-Nguyen of ‘Ezham Arivu’ fame.

‘Boxer’ is directed by debutant Vivek. The movie has two female leads in Sanjjana Galrani and Ritika Singh. While the former plays a boxer, Ritika will be seen as a boxer turned-sports journalist in the film. It is worth a mention that the National award winning Ritika is also a professional mixed martial artist in real life.
