Uttama Villain, the film which has been much awaited right from the very start of its announcement and which was written and starred by none other than universal hero Kamal Haasan was all set to release on this May 1 and due to some financial problems that occurred between the producer of this film Lingusamy and its distributors named Eros International who were the leaders in the film distribution market the film got delayed in India and it was resulted in huge loss in the initial collection of the film. The tamil version of the flick had been released in the overseas market on April 30th and it was in India this problem happened much to the disappointment of the movie lovers here and all the shows were cancelled at the last moment which was indeed a shocker for Kamal Haasan.
Now a days the flicks sent through a tiny digital file to the theaters using the satellite support and through satellite they downloads the film into their system and opens it for projection with a digital key which is sent to them by the financing team of the movie. But due to the problems happened related to finance the keys to open Uttama Villain print was not sent to the theaters by the financing team and that held back of the digital key caused the cancellation of the shows all around India.
And it really was huge blow as the film had lost a great deal of its initial collection as a result of that. It is reported by the trade experts that the film had lost almost 12 crore business in India alone on the day of its release which was on May 1, 2015. The opening day collection is always important for any big budget flick. The film was later released on the next day clearing all the issues and got great positive response from the audience and it had collected rupees 3.5 crore that day and 6 crore the next day.
The flick was conceived by director Ramesh aravind and the film is getting appreciation for the performance of the Universal hero Mr. Kamal Haasan in it. He really stole the show with his fantabulous show of acting skills.
