Mollywood is also doing their bit to help and support the people in Chennai who is now suffering due to flood. Super stars like Mammootty and Mohanlal had already given 10 lakhs together and also food materials to the people of Chennai apart from providing and sharing information about the places to stay for people around Chennai city and various other places in Tamil Nadu. Actors like Jayaram, Suresh Krishna, Kaniha, Manju Warrier etc also done their bit like this. Now it’s the turn of popular actor Dileep to help and he had given his help and support for the people of Chennai in the form of drinking water.
Dileep says that now money is not that important there and they needs pure water, food, medicine and cloths. So, he send five loads of rrinking water to Chennai already. Dileep says that from the time he entered in to the film industry, Chennai is one of his favorite city. He said that a heaven like place now turned in to hell because of the natural disaster that happened there.
He opines that Chennai has many rich people and money is not a matter for them now. But what they need now is water to drink even though they are surrounded by water all around now. Dileep says that we all have to come forward to bring them pure water to drink, medicines, food, clothes and shelter to sleep. He had done his bit and everyone has to do their bit to help the people of Chennai. Mohanlal had given food to people of Chennai worth two lakhs. He said that it can happen anywhere tomorrow and we need to help others if we wants help from them tomorrow.
Dileep also appreciated the activities of social media in this issue as he said that he was really amazed to see the response of social media to this bog problem. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to all Social Media members for helping and supporting Chennai. And said that we all have to pray for Chennai and hope for its fast recovery.
