Don’t Breathe remake : Vikram to undergo transformation again

Kollywood actor Vikram is one actor who will go to any extent to make his part look perfect. His dedication to the craft is unbelievable and he is always on the look for new challenging roles.

The latest we hear is that Vikram is planning to undergo a body transformation again for his upcoming movie.

We had earlier reported that Vikram will be playing the lead in the Tamil remake of Hollywood movie Don’t Breathe.

Apparently, Vikram is undergoing a transformation to become more leaner to play the part which Stephen Lang played in the original. Vikram has started his specially prescribed diet two weeks ago.

In the original, Stephen Lang was playing a blind old man. Vikram has earlier acted as a blind man in Kaasi and Thandavam. He played both the characters with two contrasting body languages.

Kaasi was a naive, intimidated character whereas in Thandavam he played a blind man who is on a killing spree using echolocation for avenging his wife’s death. His performance in both the movies received rave appreciation.

The Tamil remake of Don’t Breathe will have some changes from the original to suit the sensibility of the Tamil audience. Sources inform that the movie will have Ooty or Kodaikanal as the backdrop.

There were reports that Irumugan director Aanand Shankar will be directing Vikram again in Don’t Breathe. But an official confirmation regarding this news is still awaited.

Vikram also has the sequel of blockbuster movie Saamy in his kitty. His last release Irumugan was a commercial success where he played a double role for the first time in his career.
