Eagerly waiting to see waiting to see Mohanlal’s directorial debut Barroz: Raghunath Paleri
As we already know, Mohanlal is set to turn a director with an ambitious 3D film. Titled as ‘Barroz’, the film is based on a mythical story set in the Portuguese backdrop. Jijo Punnoose, the visionary filmmaker who made India’s first 3D film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’, has penned the story. Recently, famous scriptwriter Raghunath Paleri, in a Facebook post, had written about his expectations on the movie.
Apparently, Paleri has already read the story through his friend Jijo. He calls it a fascinating story about an innocent ghost named Barroz. Besides wielding the megaphone, Mohanlal is also playing the titular character. Raghunath Paleri added that he is eagerly waiting to see Mohanlal’s performance in the movie.
Barroz is said to be a mythical figure who was the gaurdian of Vasco da Gama’s valuable treasures for 400 years. Ace cinematographer KU Mohanan will be wielding camera for this 3D film. Mohanlal, Jijo Punnoose, Mohanan and a few others were recently in Goa as part of pre-production, which includes set works.
The makers are planning to shoot in exotic locations in Goa, Portugal and several other foreign countries. Shoot will start in October once Mohanlal is free from his other commitments. The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
