Sathyan Anthikkad is considered as one of the best and minimum guarantee director of Mollywood who never fails at box office with his films. He always make films for the family audience with a feel good factor in it and as per his interest family audience rush into the theaters and makes the film a hit as well. There may be many opinion especially among the younger generation that he is always following the same pattern in his films but the fact is that he always set the money bells ringing at box office with that so called same pattern or the metaphorical bus which runs through the same route.
Sathyan Anthikkad’s previous film was with Mohanlal and Manju Warrier in the lead named Ennum Eppozhum which released on this Vishu season and became a hit of this year with the support of family audience. He does one film a year and as per reports his next one will be with Fahad Fazil which may start on this year last and come to the theaters by next year Vishu season. As per news Sathyan Anthikkad himself is writing the screenplay of this film. He had done a film with Fahad before and it was in 2013, the film titled Oru Indian Pranaya Kadha which was a success as well or may be we can say that the only film that escaped without any injury by the storm created at box office by Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph’s team Drishyam.
Sathyan Anthikkad always wants a regular team of his when he is working on a film that include actors and technicians. Mohanlal is his all-time favorite hero and then comes Jayaram. These two had done almost 80% of the films directed by Sathyan Anthikkad. Now Fahad has got a chance to work with him again and that means Sathyan Anthikkad has a trust on him as an actor as Sathyan believes more in performance than any stardom of an actor.
Mohanlal and Jayaram are the perfect ones for Sathyan’s film and sometimes he had to think of another as well. Official confirmation about this project has not yet come and as of now it is just a rumor.
