Fans attacked theatre after Pulimurugan show is stopped in between
Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan was releases yesterday and has already become a rage among the audience. Legion of houseful shows are reported everywhere in Kerala.
Meanwhile an incident was reported in Irutti, where a group of men destroyed theatre properties and broke the glasses of the ticket counter because of some technical disruption during the show.
The incident happened during the 1.30 pm show in Kalpana theatre, Irutti. The theatre works on UFO system and due to some delay in satellite signals the movie had to be stopped in between the show. Soon a group of men started breaking the chairs, glasses and other properties.
After that the technical error was rectified. Once the show started again, these men entered the hall to watch the movie.
Theatre management and nearby shop owners alerted the police about the incident. All of them were arrested from the theatre premises. The police have registered a case based on the complaint filed by theatre manager Shibu.
Incidentally this is not the first time such an mishap is being reported. Earlier also there has been clashes reported from the theatre.
Fans are thronging the theatres for every show and with the weekend, almost all the shows in Kerala are already booked houseful.
According to latest reports from the industry, the movie will be extended to more theatres after the overwhelming initial response.
