‘Ilayaraja’ is directed by Madhav Ramadasan, who has earlier helmed acclaimed films like ‘Apothecary’ and ‘Melvilasom’. The film had its theatrical release last year in March. Director Madhav Ramadasan has penned the story while screenplay and dialogues are written by Sudeep T George. It tells the story of Vanajan, a vertically challenged man who is a roadside peanut vendor. He finds it hard to meet ends for his family, which comprises his ailing wife, father and two school going kids. Vanajan’s children – Subbu and Ambu are gifted with special talents. It is basically an inspiring tale of how the underprivileged defy all odds to reach new heights.

The film has an elaborate supporting cast comprising of Deepak Parambol, Kavitha Nair, Anil Nedumangad, Baby Ardra, Master Adhithyan and Jayaraj Warrier. Movie Musical Cutz presented it in association with Mumbai Cine Talkies.
