Kalidas, son of Mollywood popular actor Jayaram has made his debut as a young hero in Tamil film directed by Balaji Tharuneetharan. Oru Pakka Kathai is the name of the film and youngster Kalidas shot to fame in Tamil with a mimicry performance in which he imitated actors like Surya, Ilaya thalapathy Vijay, Thala Ajith etc in front of them and that was really a turning point in him. Apart from that Ulakanayakan Kamala Haasan introduced Kalidasan in the above mentioned film and the clapping of the first shot of his debut film s done by his father Jayaram.
Director of his above mentioned film is Balaji tharuneetharan and he is a director whose first film is well received and critically acclaimed titled as Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and this film with Kalidas is his second film only. The heroine of the film is also a newcomer named Megha Aakash. Even though it is his debut as a hero kalidasan is not new to the field of acting as he is a national award winning actor in the child artist category many years ago for his superb performance in the Bobby-Sanjay scripted Sibi Malayil directorial film named Ente Veedu Appoontem in which along with him his father Jayaram played the lead male role.
He had made his debut as an actor in Malayalam cinema named Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal directed by Sathayn Anthikkad in which he played the role of the son of the character played by his father Jayaram. In both films in mollywood he had acted along with his father and in both films he played the role of the son of the character played by jayaram. From that time onwards mollywood film lovers are waiting for the grand entry of Kalidas Jayaram into mollywood as a hero.
The filming of his first Tamil film is in its last stage and reports are coming in that Kalidas Jayaram is getting many offers from Tamil and some of which he liked as well. It seems that Kalidas’s entry into Malayalam as a hero will not be coming so soon as he is busy with the Tamil films. Jayaram had earlier said that Kalidas will definitely do mollywood films if the right script comes his way. Hope it will come very soon and we all will have the chance to watch the young Kalidas on own big screen speaking Malayalam.
