Malayalam Cinema is going through a new phase now in which films getting noticed and get succeeded at box office irrespective of the presence of stars or big names associated with it. Subject taking the center stage and it is a good thing indeed for the industry. But, still there are films get ignored which are very small in budget and there is also a trend that if a small film gets an award before its release, distributors and theater owners refuses to take up that film only because they thinks that people don’t want to see award winning movies.

Now, two directors who came from the same school (both were worked as assistant directors of veteran director Kamal), is all set to bring about a change in the above mentioned trend. Lal Jose and Aashiq Abu it is and they are all set to distribute small films here in Mollywood.
