Lal Jose is happy to have Sarath Kumar and Arun Kurian in Velipadinte Pusthakam
Director Lal Jose is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie, Velipadinte Pusthakam that has Mohanlal in the lead. The movie, written by Benny P Nayarambalam is a campus based entertainer in which Mohanlal will be seen in the role of a college vice principal.
Velipadinte Pusthakam will have a blend of youngsters and veteran actors in the cast. Recently, Lal Jose shared his happiness in working with two young talents; Angamaly Diaries fame Sarath Kumar and Aanandam fame Arun Kurian.
He uploaded a photo with the two actors in his Facebook page. He captioned it as,
Arun and Sarat – from the latest batch of Malayalam Cinema got lots of talent and charm. They do have a great future here. Happy to have them in ‘Velipaadinte pusthakam’.
Sarath Kumar grabbed the attention of the audience with his stellar performance as the villain, Appani Ravi in Angamaly Diaries. The former thetare artist will be seen in a major role in this Mohanlal starrer. Arun Kurian played one of the leads in last year’s superhit youth entertainer Aanandam.
Velipadinte Pusthakam will deal with the relationship between teachers and students. Mohanlal’s own production house Aashirvad Cinemas is producing this film.
Angamaly Diaries fame Anna Reshma Rajan is the female lead in this film. Anoop Menon, Jalam fame Priyanka Nair, Salim Kumar, Kalabhavan Shajon, Siddique, Alencier Ley Lopez and many others are also part of the cast.
Shaan Rahman is composing the music while youngster Vishnu Sarma will be cranking the camera. The makers are planning to release the movie for this year’s Onam season.
