Loham is a good and satisfying film says Jude Antony Joseph

Mohanlal film Loham which was released on Thursday had received mixed reviews from the film critics as well as positive ones mostly from the ordinary viewers of Mollywood films. That itself was enough for the film to do big at the box office as it had none other than Mohanlal as the male lead along with the super director and screenplay writer Ranjith behind the camera. The marketing strategies of Aashirvad Cinemas lead by Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor, the biggest production house in Mollywood, also made it the best in box office.

The huge release and the above average opinion from the common audience made it a record breaker from the very first day as it had took hold of the record of the highest collecting Malayalam film on its opening day and also created another record by earning 1 crore of share from its very first day. As per the trade guides the flick has already entered the hit chart and has made profit even before the release with satellite rights bought by Asianet and also through the advance from the theaters.

Today the state award winning film Ohm Shanthi Oshaana’s director Jude Antony Joseph posted a short review of Loham on his Facebook page. He says that the film is a good one and he really loved it. The performance of Mohanlal and Siddique was the highlight of the film and he also said that if you go without huge expectations it will make you happy and satisfied. It has good jokes and it will satisfy you as a spectator if you are ready to go for it without bearing the burden of expectations of this Mohanlal- Ranjith team’s movie to be like his previous mass action films, he continues

Now the film is getting accepted by all the sections of the society and is maintaining a steady collection in the box office. As per trade guides the flick has been creating waves in Kerala box office and it continues to show strong hold at box office on its second day even when it was a working day. The second day collection has not arrived yet but from unofficial sources we learned that the film had grossed around 1.50 crore in its second day from Kerala alone.
