The video had become viral through online medias and social medias like Facebook and Whatsapp. It had created so much buzz among the malayali audience and it is undoubtedly the biggest hit among the songs released in last few years.

The Malare song had created record in fastest Mollywood film song video to cross 5 lakhs viewers in YouTube and it has reached almost 6 lakh views by the time the copyright issue popped up and the video was removed from its official channel. Even though the video is still available in many unofficial YouTube channels and also spreading through Whatsapp the removal of the video from the official channel means that it will lose all that number of record viewers and that record as well. The copyright of the music of the film Premam was bought by Muzik247 and it was due to something related with the copyright issue including them that the video has been removed from the official channel.

The song was become popular in quick time after the release of the film and the success of the film also owes a lot to that song. The character of Malar played by Sai Pallavi is the one which become the most popular part of this film and the song which portray Malar’s love relationship with George played by Nivin Pauly made the video the biggest hit of the year. The music director of the film is Rajesh Murugeshan.

The Malare song was written by Shabareesh Varma and sung by Vijay Yesudas. The fans of this song was really disappointed after the removal of the song as they know that the record which the song made in YouTube views from now on will be an old story which does not exist. There are many posts coming in Facebook related to this and some of them trolling this situation and others which expresses the disappointment.
