Malayalam actor Manikandan Achari ties the knot
Malayalam film actor Manikandan R Achari got married today in a temple in Thrippunithura today. Anjali, a native of Maradu in Kochi, is the bride. In the backdrop of the Covid-19 outbreak, their wedding was a very private affiar with only very few family members attending the function. The wedding was conducted following all the lockdown protocols.
Manikandan had already informed about the wedding through his social media handle. The actor also donated a hefty sum saved his wedding to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. Thrippunithura M Swaraj received the amount.
Manikandan made his acting debut in 2016 with Rajeev Ravi’s ‘Kammattipaadam’. He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actor for his role. Later, he did notable roles in films like ‘Varnyathil Aashanka’, ‘Eeda’ and ‘Carbon’. He made his debut in Tamil cinema last year with the Rajinikanth starrer ‘Petta’. He will be next seen in a major role in the multi-starrer ‘Thuramukham’.
