Manikandan Achari joins Rajinikanth’s Petta
Rajinikanth’s next with Karthik Subbaraj, Petta, is a hugely hyped film. The recent title announcement was celebrated widely in social medias. The director has already assembled an incredible cast, and latest to join the team is Malayali actor Manikandan Achari. The actor, who is well known for his State Award winning performance in Kammattipadam, is making his Tamil debut with Petta.
An excited Manikandan informed the big news to his followers by sharing a photo taken with actor Vijay Sethupathi from the movie’s sets. The team, including Rajinikanth, is currently is shooting in Lucknow. Manikandan, on behalf of all Malayalis, also thanked Vijay Sethupathi for all the help he did during the Kerala floods.
Besides Rajinikanth and Vijay Sethupathi, Petta also has Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, Simran, Trisha and Megha Akash in major roles. Supporting actors like Guru Somasundaram, Munishkanth Ramdoss, Sanath Reddy, Deepak Paramesh and ‘Aadukalam’ Naren are also part of the cast.
Fans and cinephiles are equally excited to watch such big stars together on screen. The movie’s technical crew includes National award winning cinematographer Tirru, composer Anirudh and action choreographer Peter Hein. Kalanithi Maran is producing movie under the banner of Sun Pictures.
