Actress Miya is one of the most favorite and talented artist of Malayalam film lovers and she has quite a number of fans with her super cute looks and acting skills as well. She has acted in many films and had the fortune to act along with the legend Mohanlal as well in her not so long career in Mollywood. But she will never forget the shooting days of Anarkali directed by Sachi. Don’t you like to know why.? It is because Miya and other artists who worked in the film including the male lead Prithviraj had to suffer the hard sunlight and heat of it while they were shooting for the film in the locations of Lakshadweep. Miya’s skin tone was very much affected by the hard sunlight and heat to which she was exposed while filming there.
There was almost 40 days of shoot in Lakshadweep for the film and the temperature raised to a level of almost 55 degree Celsius while they were shooting the film there. Miya says that most of them had got sun burn kind of black marks on their skin after the shoot and their skin tone was totally affected with the heat from the mighty sun at that part of the world.
Anarkali is the directorial debut of the screenplay writer, Sachi after he had wrote blockbusters like Run Baby Run for Joshiy- Mohanlal team and also gave some super successful screenplays with his writing partner Sethu before they got separated. Sachi said that after many years that a film shooting had come to Kavaratti islands. So the people there had great curiosity and they also gave every possible help they could do to make the shooting easy and smooth. The weather was hard and it was very challenging to shoot in the sea while the sea was not in its favourable condition.
Miya is playing a character named doctor Sherin Mathew who is working at Kavaratti islands and Prithviraj is coming as the character named Shanthanu who is an instructor of Sea diving and lives in Kavaratti islands. The other heroine in the flick is Priya Gore and Biju Menon also plays a major role in the flick.
