We all know the caliber of Rosshan Andrrews as a director and he had given some great films to remember forever like Udayananu Tharam, Ividam Swargamanu, Mumbai Police, How old are you etc. He had remade How old are you to Tamil as well and won the love and respect of Kollywood as well.

Rosshan Andrrews started his career as a director with a blockbuster success named Udayananu Tharam scripted by Sreenivasan and the male lead was none other than the Universal Star of Mollywood, Mohanlal. Out of the 6 Malayalam films he directed Mohanlal was the hero in 3 of his films and two of them won laurels at box office as well as from critics and they are Udayananu Tharam and Ividam Swargamanu which also won state award as well.

We already know that Mohanlal is one of the best actors India has ever seen and even legends like Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan and Directors like Mani Ratnam had said it long before. Now another one to the list of Mohanlal admirers and it is Rosshan Andrrews. He says that Mohanlal is a versatile genius who can give you something unique in every single shot you take of the same scenes or other scenes.

Rosshan Andrrews says that Mohanlal’s best take was the first take they took. There are not many actors in our industry who can give you a perfect one in the first shot itself. He recalls such incidents from his first film Udayananu Tharam where Mohanlal made him stood stunned with his amazing versatility in each of the single shots making it a specific scene.

Rosshan Andrrews says that the positive energy he brings to each of us is unmatchable and he always gives us something new and very special when he performs emotional scenes. We can’t find out which is the better shot as each of them seems best to us in various ways. Rosshan also said that he found that sort of a versatility in an actress when he worked with Manju Warrier in How Old Are You. According to him Mohanlal and Manju Warrier are the best he has ever seen.
