There is not much words in our dictionary to describe our pride called Mohanlal as he continues to amaze us with every films he acts and there are more and more unheard stories of him coming out which speaks about a lot about this wonder of Indian film industry and make all Malayalees proud. This time it was universal hero Kamal Haasan speaks volume about Mohanlal as an actor and that incident is narrated by actress Lissy.
Lissy recalls an incident that once she called Kamal Haasan after she saw the film named Unnai Pol Oruvan which has Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal in the lead roles. It was the official remake of the Bollywood film named A Wednesday directed by Neeraj Pandey and starred by Nasurudeen Shah and Anupam Kher. In the Tamil version directed by Chakri Toleti Kamal Haasan reprised the role of Nasurudeen shah from the Hindi version and Mohanlal has done the character which was actually done by Anupam Kher in the Hindi version.
Lissy says that she had contacted Kamal Haasan and congratulated him for the success of the film. But when she congratulated him, Mr. Kamal Haasan asked her that why she is congratulating him. He said that all the credits of the success goes to Mohanlal as his performance was beyond words and he has just made Kamal Haasan wonder struck. Lissy said that in the film both Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal had roles of equal importance. Both had just done a terrific job as well. It was very difficult to tell that who did the best job in the flick.
But Kamal Haasan says without any doubt that Mohanlal is the one who stole the show in this flick. Lissy says that at that very moment when Kamal Haasan said that Mohanlal is just made him awestruck with his unbelievable performance she felt really proud to be a Malayali and also an actress who had acted along with Mohanlal as his heroine in some films.
There has been always a debate going in medias as who is the best actor India has ever seen. Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan are the only two candidates who always makes it up to the top at the end of all that debates and discussion. They are unarguable the best ever as well. And Kamal Haasan says it’s Mohanlal and we think the same as well and hope that it’s an answer for all debates as well.
