Mollywood film lovers and fans of Mohanlal was very much surprised as their hero Mohanlal announced his next project through his Facebook page some days back. Because there was no clue about such a film and even the online medias stood surprised as they had got nothing about it before Mohanlal announced the project. It was a Mohanlal- Jibu Jacob project Scripted by Sindhu Raj and financed by Sophia Paul. People were talking about many other projects of Mohanlal which is on the pipeline and online medias are busy in searching about the exclusive information about them as well. But Mohanlal had really surprised everyone and we said to many days before that Mohanlal is all set to surprise the viewers by announcing some unexpected projects.
Jibu Jacob was the star of last year with a blockbuster film to his credit and that too in his debut film named Vellimoonga starring Biju Menon and Nikki Galrani. Sophia paul also made her entry to mollywood with a blockbuster named Bangalore Days in association with Anwar Rasheed Entertainments. Sindhu Raj is the writer who gave super hit scripts like Puthiya Mukham, Elsamma Enna Aankutty and Pullipulikalum Aattin Kuttiyum etc. He is one of the favourite writer of director Lal Jose as well.
Jibu Jacob said recently in an interview that this upcoming Mohanlal flick of his will be a light hearted comedy entertainer and the character was perfectly made for Mohanlal. He said that the screenplay was not yet completed and it is on the way to its finish and they are in search of other artists for the movie including the female lead.
The flick is inspired from the short story named Pranayopanishathu written by James V J. But the director said that it will not be a page by page adaptation of the story by James V J. The story said to be zooms into the life of a couple and it will be a complete family entertainer says Jibu Jacob. They will start rolling right after the script completed and Mohanlal is currently busy with Kanal and he said to be starting Puli Murugan after Kanal. There is a Major Ravi project may also come as a surprise film for him in the next month or so.
