But at that time Ashirvad was only in its beginning stage. But now this pair of Mohanlal- Priya Darshan will be joining with Mohanlal- Antony Perumbavoor’s Ashirvad Cinemas again.
Mohanlal and Priyadarshan combination is all set to join again and the film will be financed by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. The film touted to be an action thriller will start rolling from Next year beginning. Even though Mohanlal- Priyadarshan combination is popular for their comedy films, whenever they had done action films, they were super successes in box office. Films like Aaryan, Abhimanyu and Adwaitham were big successes in box office at that time and they are still remaining as classic action movies of all-time in Mollywood. So when this duo is joining again for an action film it will be something to watch out for.
As per reports in this upcoming film Mohanlal may be playing a blind character for the first time in career even though he acted as a blind man in Rajeev Anchal directorial film named Guru. But in that film he had not played a full-fledged blind character. Mohanlal and Priyadarshan will have another film coming as well which is a Russian production with 28 crore budget.
