Nivin Pauly is surely going through the best patch of his life and we can say that he is in form with continuous success being in the limelight of Mollywood. It had almost started from the film named 1983 (2014) helmed by Abrid Shine which had graced the screens all over Kerala in January last year and became a super success. From then on he turned whatever he touched to gold and he became one of the most popular star among the youngsters of the industry as well. Two months back he had delivered the second biggest hit of Mollywood as well, named Premam conceived by Alphonse Puthran. Now Nivin’s Premam is behind the universal star Mohanlal’s flick Drishyam (2013) by Jeethu Joseph as it had secured the highest grosser in Mollywood 2 years back and still reigning like a boss.
Two days back the SIIMA-South Indian International Award- has been announced and distributed awards at Dubai. From Malayalam, Nivin Pauly was chosen as the best actor of 2014 for his performance in the above mentioned film 1983 conceived by Abrid Shine which had really helped the rise of Nivin Pauly as an actor and a star in Mollywood. To receive the first best actor award from an actor who is undoubtedly the best and finest in our country has ever seen, itself is an honor more than the award, added Nivin. Receiving an award for his performance from an actor who is probably one of the best in the world is the most exciting moment for a young actor like Nivin.
Nivin said that he is very happy and honored to receive it from Mohanlal. He said that he grew up watching Mohanlal’s films and never thought of even meeting him personally. But now he had got the luck to stand along with him on a big stage,which is a dream come true to receive a best actor award from his hand. It’s quite amazing. Nivin had dedicated the award specially to the director of 1983 Abrid Shine and to the whole cast and crew of that film.
