Official: Nayanthara is Ajith’s heroine in Viswasam!

There have been a lot of speculations regarding the female lead in Thala Ajith’s upcoming movie, Viswasam. Anushka Shetty, Keerthy Suresh and Shraddha Srinath were some of the names that were doing the rounds in social medias. Putting an end to all loose talks, the makers have now come out with an official announcement.

‘Lady superstar’ Nayanthara has been brought on board as Ajith’s pair in Viswasam. This is their fourth film together after working in Billa, Aegan and Arrambam. The actress is in red hot form of late. She is going through a great phase in her career by bagging a lot of prestigious projects, while also doing a handful of female-centric movies. Her addition to Viswasam team further enhances the expectations. Fans are highly excited to see the Ajith-Nayanthara pair back on screen.

Viswasam is Ajith’s fourth film with director Siva after Veeram, Vedhalam and Vivegam. While their first two outings were mass masala entertainers, Vivegam was an ambitious spy thriller. If reports are to be believed, Viswasam will be a cop story. Ajith is said to be sporting a salt and pepper look for this movie.

Pre-production works are currently progressing at a rapid pace. Vetri is cinematographer and Ruben has been roped in to handle the edits. Sathya Jyothi Films, who funded Vivegam, is producing this upcoming venture as well. As per trustworthy reports, Vivegam will start rolling on February 22. The makers are planning to wrap up the shoot by the end of July and have a grand Diwali release in November.
