Oru Mexican Aparatha all set to present the Vintage Maharajas College before us

The upcoming movie, Oru Mexican Aparatha will start rolling soon and it will be directed by the debutant Tom Emmatty. The film made news with its star cast which include young star Tovino Thomas (Ennu Ninte Moideen fame) and Sphadikam fame actor/director Roopesh Peetambaran.

After playing the childhood of the epic Mohanlal character named Aadu Thoma in Sphadikam, Roopesh Peetambaran not acted in any movies. So this movie will be his comeback to silver screen. He had directed two movies in Malayalam later, titled Theevram with Dulquer Salmaan and You Too Brutus with Asif Ali, Tovino Thomas and Sreenivasan. Now, this upcoming project making news with the setting it has. The team behind the film is all set to present before us, the vintage Maharajas College.

The story of the flick is set in the golden era of Maharajas College, which is one of the most popular arts colleges in Kerala. Maharajas has a rich history. A lot of prominent figures in Kerala had studied here and this college was instrumental in shaping up many political leaders as well as many artists. The team behind the film wants to tell about that nostalgic story of Maharajas.

For that purpose, they invited fresh faces who can play the characters in the film which is based on the 1970’s in Kerala. The response was stunning as they got more than 50 fresh faces who came for audition wearing dresses that reminds us of the era of 1970’s.

Oru Mexican Aparatha team said that they got the fresh faces whom they wanted to play the 1972 batch of Maharajas College and will invite more fresh faces to act in the movie very soon, for playing another batch of students in Maharajas, during that golden period.
