Pathemari will come to Gulf countries on November 19

Mammootty starrer Pathemari which had made great impact here in Mollywood will come to gulf countries on the coming month and to be precise, it will release in gulf countries on November 19. The film directed by the national award winning director Salim Ahammad had released here on October 9 and from the very first show it had really created great positive reviews and already attained the status of one of the classics made in Malayalam cinema history. Mammootty’s performance as Pallickal Narayanan had got great appreciation and it had already become one of the best performance in his career as well.

In Kerala the film is still running with good occupancy at theaters as per reports. Even though the high budget which is around 8-9 crore not made it a commercial success till now, it is on its way to attain that as well. As per trade guides the film is now collected above 6 crore from its 3 weeks of run at box office.

Pathemari is about the life and struggles through which the Non Resident Indians, specially who went to gulf countries to earn a living for his family back home in Kerala. So when it will release in Gulf countries on November 19, it is expected to get a warm welcome there as it tells there story with complete honesty, sincerity and intensity. It portrays four different periods of life in gulf countries of our people.

Each and every character in the film has their own space and other than Mammootty the actors who had given notable performances was Sreenivasan, Siddique, Joy Mathew, Salim Kumar, Jewel Mary etc and the technical section also done a fabulous job which includes Oscar winner Rasool Pookkutty as sound designer and National award winner Madhu Ambat as cameraman as well. Actor Siddique’s son Shaheen Siddique also made his debut through this film in which he played the role of Mammootty’s character’s Son.

The screenplay of the film also written by the director Salim Ahammad himself after making a lot of researches about the life of people who went to gulf countries from 1960’s.
