Premam re release in Kerala today
Premam, the flick which become the second biggest success ever in Kerala after Drishyam had made news all throughout last year and after one year of its release, it is again making news. In the last week of this year May, the film had celebrated one year of its release. It was released on May 29, 2015. Now, the film had made a comeback to theater today. As per reports, the flick has been released in Carnival theaters Karunagappally, in Kerala. The film had ran more than 100 days in Kerala and close to 300 days in Tamil Nadu as well.
In Tamil Nadu it set a record by running almost 300 days and even Tamil films which released there in last few years could not able to achieve that feat. Premam had already shown in Mini screen several times, but still it finds its way back to the theaters in Kerala and that itself is the evidence of impact this film had created here in Mollywood.
Alphonse Puthren had scripted, edited and directed this movie and the success of it had made Nivin Pauly one of the most sought after actor not only in Mollywood, but also in South Indian Film Industry. Anwar Rasheed is the producer of this movie. The film is remade to Telugu as well with the same title and it may release in August or so.
Artists like Madonna Sebastian, Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameshawaran, Siju Wilson, Soubin Shahir, Vinay Fort, Sharafudden etc also become popular all over Kerala and some of them crossed the boundaries of Kerala as well after the success of this film.
After the success of this film, Nivin Pauly had two other blockbusters as well here named Action Hero Biju and Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam. He also signed two Tamil Films as well after that. One has started filming which is directing by Gautham Ramachandran. Another one will be directed by Prabhu Radhakrishnan, which will be the third venture of 24AM Studios.
