Prithviraj’s new projects to be announced on Lucifer’s 100th day!
Prithviraj Sukumaran is probably in the best phase of his career with his directorial debut ‘Lucifer’ striking gold in the box office. The Mohanlal starrer has emerged as the biggest blockbuster in the history of Malayalam cinema. The movie is currently nearing its 100th day of theatrical run. In this age of multiple releases in a week along with the threat of piracy, it is quite a remarkable feat for a movie to have such a long run in big screens.
To make the 100th day even more special, some new projects of Prithviraj are most likely to be announced. As per our sources within the industry, the actor is set to team up with ‘Sudani From Nigeria’. Another film to be helmed by one of his associates is also on the cards. Fans well as cinephiles are eagerly waiting for the official word to be made regarding these new projects.
Meanwhile, the actor has just a few more portions left to be completed for ‘Brother’s Day’, directed by Kalabhavan Shajohn. He also has ‘Driving School’ with Lal Jr, ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ with Sachi and an untitled film with ‘Kammarasambhavam’ fame Rathish Ambat lined up this year.
By mid 2020, Prithviraj has planned to start works for his next directorial, ‘Empuraan’, which is designed as a second part (both as a prequel and sequel) to ‘Lucifer’.
