Rajesh Pillai’s new film with Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya-Onlookers Media

Director Rajesh Pillai was all set to start his fourth film in this July after the critically acclaimed last outing titled Mili. Mili was his third film after Hridayathil Sookshikkan and Traffic. And among those three films Traffic was really a trendsetter in mollywood or we can say that it is a film which had changed the face of Mollywood few years back. It has inspired and motivated a lot of film makers to do try and do something very different and unique not bothering much about the trends in the industry.

It was such an influential film and Rajesh Pillai’s caliber as a film maker was very evident in each and every shot of the movie. Even though his first film was Kunchacko boban and Bhavana starrer romantic film Hridayathil Sookshikkan his really announced his grand entry into mollywood through Traffic and with that single film he made a position of his own in the industry.

This year January he came with Mili which has Nivin Pauly and Amala Paul in the lead and in this time also he dare to do something very different with a female oriented flick which gives a very strong message to the society. Even though the film is very well appreciated by the critics, the film has not become a great box office success. Now Rajesh pillai is coming again this year with his new film which is not titled yet.

The lead actors in this film will be Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya and the film is all set to start in July this year. Ashiq usman will be the financer of this film under the banner of Milestone Cinemas. The screen writer of the film is Arun lal and famous cinematographer Santhosh Thundiyil will be the DOP of the film. Other details about the cast and crew will come in the next few days and we will keep you all updated about it whenever it comes our way.

Rajesh pillai had also planning a Mohanlal Project named Lucifer which will be scripted by Murali Gopi and that too can be expected from him in the near future.
