Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sarah Ali Khan to make her South Indian debut with Mani Ratnam’s next
Legendary director Mani Ratnam’s movies have always generated immense curiosity among the audience. Ever since the release of his last film Kaatru Veliyidai, there have been a lot of speculations about the lead actors of his next film. Telugu actor Ram Charan has been holding talks with the director for sometime now and if reports are to be believed the project has been confirmed as a trilingual in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
According to latest reports, the veteran filmmaker has roped in Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sarah Ali Khan to pair opposite Ram Charan in his movie. Sarah will be making her South Indian debut with this movie which is tipped to be a romantic entertainer.
“Sara might play the lead role, but it has not been confirmed yet. Only initial talks have taken place. The project might be a Telugu-Hindi-Tamil trilingual”, a source is quoted saying to DC.
Sara is the elder daughter of Saif Ali Khan-Amrita Singh couple. She is said to be making her much awaited Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shoff with Student Of The Year 2. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is funding this movie.
Meanwhile, there are also reports about Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathy and Fahadh Faasil teaming up for a Mani Ratnam movie with Kaatru Veliyidai’s heroine Aditi Rao Hydari in one of the lead roles. However, it is not sure which of the two projects will take off first.
