Shanthanu Bhagyaraj to play a negative role in Thalapathy 64
Shoot for ‘Thalapathy 64’ is currently progressing in Delhi. Lokesh Kanagaraj, whose latest release ‘Kaithi’, continues to excel all over, is directing this film. While Vijay plays the lead role, the film also boasts of a star-studded supporting cast. Vijay Sethupathi, Antony Varghese, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah and ’96’ fame Gouri G Kishan are part of the film.
Latest reports suggest that Shanthanu Bhagyaraj will be seen in a negative role in the film. Vijay Sethupathi is playing the prime antagonist and it said that Shanthanu’s character is a college student who is also a part of his gang. Vijay is reportedly essaying the part of a college professor. Shanthanu is a huge fan of Vijay and this film with his idol is expected to be a big break for him.
Director Lokesh has scripted ‘Thalapathy 64’ with additional screenplay by his ‘Kaithi’ co-writer Pon Parthiban and ‘Aadai’ fame Rathna Kumar. It is expected to be a completely different film from the usual mass entertainers that Vijay does. The team is in Delhi for a month long schedule. Xavier Britto is producing the film, which is scheduled for a summer release in 2020.
