Shoot for Suresh Gopi’s Kaaval to resume this month
Suresh Gopi’s upcoming film ‘Kaaval’ is a highly anticipated one as it marks his comeback to mass genre after a very long gap. The film directed by ‘Kasaba’ fame Nithin Renji Panicker was on the verge of completion when the pandemic brought things to a standstill. After over 5 months of waiting, the makers have now decided to resume shoot. As per reports, the team will resume works from October 7. 2 more weeks of shoot has been planned with Vandiperiyar and Palakkad as the major locations.
‘Kaaval'” scripted by director Nithin himself, has Suresh Gopi playing a character named Thamban. Along with him, Renji Panicker is also playing a full-length character. The film is basically an action-packed family drama. The story set in the high ranges of Idukki and spans across different timelines. The film has an elaborate cast comprising of Zaya David, Alencier Ley Lopez, IM Vijayan, Sujith Shankar, Kichu Tellus, Binu Pappu, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Muthumani and Pathamaraj Ratheesh.
National award winner Nikhil S Praveen is the cinematographer, Mansoor Muthutty is the editor and Ranjin Raj of ‘Joseph’ fame handles the music department. Joby George of Goodwill Entertainments is producing the film.
