Sreesanth all set to make his Tamil debut!
Ever since he was arrested in 2013 for his alleged involvement in the spot fixing incident that rocked IPL, Malayali cricketer Sreesanth has been trying his hand in various fields – dance reality shows, cinema and even politics. Though he was declared not guilty by the supreme court, BCCI, the country’s highest cricketing body, is yet to give him a clearance, which has almost put his sporting career to an end.
However, Sreesanth is still in the limelight. He has already acted in Malayalam, Hindi and and Kannada films. Now, he has now bagged an acting offer from Tamil. He will be making his Kollywood debut with an upcoming Hansika Motwani starrer. This yet-to-be titled film helmed by director duo Hari-Harish is said to be a horror comedy. While Hansika plays the lead role, Sreesanth will be seen as the prime antagonist in the film.
P Ranganathan is producing the film under the banner of Sri Vaari Films.
