Suriya 39: Director Siva to team up with Suriya next!
Director Siva, who on his fourth successive collaboration with Thala Ajith, delivered the massive blockbuster ‘Viswasam, is now much wanted in Tamil cinema circles. While it was earlier reported that his next film will be with Sivakarthikeyan, speculations are now running rife that he will be teaming up with Suriya next. KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green is said to be producing this project.
Suriya is currently shooting for KV Anand’s ‘Kaappaan’, which is in the final stages. After that, he will be joining hands with Sudha Kongara of ‘Irudhi Suttru’ fame. The movie (Suriya 38) is reportedly a biopic on GR Gopinath, the founder of Air Deccan and a retired captain of the Indian army.
As per reports from Kollywood medias, Suriya 39 will be with director Siva. It is expected to be a typcial Siva style mass commercial entertainer, much on the lines of his previous films, ‘Veeram’ and ‘Viswasam’. It has been a while since the actor has done a rural subject, so it will be a refreshing change.
Suriya’s next release will be ‘NGK’, a political thriller directed by Selvaraghan. This much awaited film is scheduled for summer release.
