It was really a shocker for the crew of Ilaya thalapathy starrer film Puli and Tamil film industry as a whole as the teaser of the film had leaked out and came in Youtube as well as in social media circles even before the official release of the first teaser. They had planned it a mid night release today as a birthday gift to Vijay and for his fans but now they had to release it sometimes early as the leaked video went viral within hours. But now the news came in that the one suspect got arrested by the Chennai police in the leakage case and his name is Mithun who works in the mixing studio.
Mithun is working in the Four Frames Mixing studio owner by famous film maker Priya Darshan and police reportedly arrested mithun from there regarding this case and a picture of police taking away mithun from the studio after the arrest was spreading in online now even though we are not sure about its authenticity. Studio owner director Priyadarshan also can be seen in that picture which has the alleged person mithun and the Chennai police officer who arrested Mithun.
The crew had kept the teaser as a secret to release on today Midnight and the accused person Mithun leaked it through online yesterday night itself. The financers of the film Mr. Shibu Tameens and P T Selva Kumar filed a complaint today morning itself demanding quick action from police as they are very upset with the incident which should not have been happened. Puli is a big budget film and the team had tried their best to keep even its pictures secret as it has some unique and surprising elements which they want to see by the spectators only at theater when it will release all over the world.
This is a real serious issue as now-a-days anyone can do such things and this is a kind of situation in which no one really know on whom we can put our trust on. These can affect a film badly which is made on a high budget scale. Earlier Puli location picture also leaked and went viral through online pages which later removed after the complaint given to cyber cell. There were also instances that happened earlier that a film fully leaked out from studios which later paved way for pirated prints coming in the market even before the film’s release.
