Telugu film industry launches Corona Crisis Charity for welfare of daily wage workers

Telugu film industry has set up a Corona Crisis Charity to help the daily wage workers who have been severely affected by the complete lock down. Film stars and production houses have come forward to generously contribute towards the cause. Megastar Chiranjeevi has tweeted the figures.

Here’s the list of donations from popular celebrities for the workers:

Chiranjeevi: Rs 1 crore

Jr NTR: Rs 1 crore

Nagarjuna: Rs 1 crore

Ravi Teja: Ra 20 lakhs

Naga Chaitanya: Rs 25 lakhs

Ram Charan: Rs 30 lakhs

Mahesh Babu: Rs 25 lakhs

Sri Venkateswara Creations: Rs 10 lakhs

Vishwak Sen: Rs 5 lakhs

Varun Tej: Rs 20 lakhs

Sharwanand: Rs 15 lakhs

Apart from this, Tollywood stars have also contributed towards the relief funds of Prime Minister and the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
