Thala Ajith hits the gym for his next action thriller
Thala Ajith, who was last seen in two different looks in ‘Viswasam’, is set to hit the gym for his new action thriller film. H Vinoth, who has directed Ajith in the yet-to-be released ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’, will be helming his next as well. Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios will be jointly producing the movie.
Ajith had shed oodles of weight and built a strong physique for playing the role of an international counter-terrorist agent in ‘Vivegam’. However, his role of an middle aged man in ‘Viswasam’ demanded a bulky physique and he maintained the same look in ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ as well. Fans are already excited to see the actor in a fit avatar once again.
‘Nerkonda Paarvai’, which is the official remake of acclaimed Hindi film ‘Pink’, will be Ajith’s next to hit screens. The movie is scheduled for release on August 10. Ajith is reprising the role played by Amitabh Bachchan in the original. Shraddha Srinath is essaying the role played by Taapsee Pannu. The movie marks Vidya Balan’s debut in Tamil as she plays the role of Ajith’s wife. Kalki Koechlin is also making a guest appearance in a song.
‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ has high expectations since Ajith is doing something different from the regular commercial format after a very long gap. It must be noted that ‘Pink’ was a widely acclaimed film that went on to win a National award.The Tamil version is also expected to do well.
