Tovino Thomas alleges mass campaign against him in social medias
Celebrity life is a world of uncertainties. One Friday, you are the newly crowned star and the next Friday you find yourself at the receiving end of trolls and criticisms. Recently, actor Tovino Thomas learnt this lesson the hard way.
Tovino was the cynosure of all eyes after the success of Guppy and Oru Mexican Aparatha. His Facebook posts about relevant social issues and his outspoken nature was loved by all, earning him a large fan following.
However, things went topsy-turvy very soon. The actor alleges that there is some sort of mass campaign going on against him in social medias. He told this in a recent TV chat show. He alleged that some people are against the acceptance he gets from the public and are trying to destroy it. Tovino added that he is aware of who all are behind it but didn’t take any one’s name.
Tovino was an active social media user but recently he has stayed away from the medium. The reason he tells is that his words are being distorted and are not taken in the right sense. Tovino faced the wrath of netizens when videos of two seperate incidents of him shouting at a group of youngsters went viral in social media platforms.
The actor was on a theatre visit spree across the state as part of promotions for Oru Mexican Aparatha. Apparently, someone from the crowd had pinched him which irked the actor. This triggered a series of trolls against him with many alleging him as being arrogant and showing his starry airs.
On the work front, Tovino’s next release is Godha, directed by Kunjiramayanam fame Basil Joseph. He is currently working on debutant Arun Dominic’s black comedy tentatively titled as Tarangam. He will start shooting for Aashiq Abu’s new film from May 20.
