Velaikkaran set visit for media, students, fans and public!
Velaikkaran continues to do great business across all the release centers. Releasing on December 22, the movie opened to unanimously positive reviews from the critics as well as the common audience. The movie starring Sivakarthikeyan and Fahadh Faasil discusses about a very relevant social issue. It deals with food adulteration and how a slum dweller fights against the corrupt system.
The slum is the major center of action as almost 50% of the movie is set there. Art director T Muthuraj’s team had erected a huge set to recreate the slum. The whole slum area was erected on an area of seven and a half acres. It took around 55 days for the team to complete the set works. RD Raja has produced the movie under the banned of 24 AM Studios.
After the release, the makers have launched a new initiative, ‘set visit’. Medias, students, general public and fans can visit the set. Director Mohan Raja, Muthuraj and cinematographer Ramji explain the process that went behind the making and share more details to the public. The sets have already been opened for the medias. Earlier, the makers of Baahubali had also launched such an initiative of set visits in Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad.
