Vidyasagar magic again through Mariyam Mukku songs

Famous screen writer James Albert’s maiden directorial venture Mariyam Mukku’s songs will surely hold a special place in Malayalam music lover’s heart and the music of the film is composed by none other than the King of Melodies, the one and only Vidyasagar.  He had given Mollywood many great melodies which have huge fan following even after years of its release and many of the Vidyasagar melodies are cult classic in Malayalam music Industry. He had a midas touch in music as most of his melodies become evergreen in every sense. In this latest film, Fahadh Faasil starring Mariyam Mukku, Vidyasagar giving us a great variety of songs with his Midas touch of heart melting melodies.  The four tracks of the film will surely enchant the Malayali audience and will take all of us to another world.

The first track of the film is “EE kadalinu kolu..” which brings to us the feel of rain,love, sea  etc and the music blends together the blossoming of love between two lovers in the monsoon. The song was sung by Singing Wizard K J Yesudas and Sujatha.  The lyrics for this song was written by Vayalar Sarath Chandra varma. The second track of the album is “Kavil..” and this song was done with a Latin-American flavor and Vidyasagar composed it as a folk song recounting about how Portuguese had come and gone. And it will be a unique one for music lovers for sure. Kavalam Sreekumar and Najeem Arshad sung this song and the lyrics for this song is penned down by  Santhosh Varma.

Next one  is “Swargam Thurannu..” which is composed with a divine feel and this Christmas night carol song has all the possibility of becoming so popular among the church and carol songs from now on and it has the magic in it to create that feel. It is a chorus song for which the lyrics are written by Father Ziyon. And fourth and last track of the album is “Mekkarayil..” and this song is a fast paced one which gives us the feel of lines coming and going just like the sea waves come and go. Renjini Jose & Jithin sung this song and the song is written by Rafeeq Ahamed.

The film is financed by A.K Sabeer and it will be distributed under the banner of LJ Films by director Lal Jose. The audio of Mariyam Mukku is released by the most popular Music company in Mollywood, The Muzik 247.
