After the release and success of I there were many rumours doing its rounds in the south Indian film industry about the next project of showman Shankar. We have heard many news about the star cast or about the theme of the film as well. But nothing yet officially declared by the director Shankar. But the news we heard about his next project is that it will be a gigantic one as all his films and it will have a terrific cast to stun the audience. As per the most latest reports from sources it will be super star Rajinikanth who will be the protagonist of next Shankar film and the antagonist of the film will be none other than Chiyaan Vikram.
The film is said to be made using 190 crores of rupees and it will be the highest budget film ever made in kollywood. His last film I also was a big budget movie which had used almost 150 crore rupees. Lyca production who had produced Ilaya thalapathy Vijay starrer film Kaththi will produce this Shankar film. At first the report came in that Aamir khan will play the villain in Shankar film opposite Rajinikanth and it will be the sequel of Shankar’s mega blockbuster hit Enthiran.
Later the news came in that Aamir had pulled out from the film due to his busy schedule in Bollywood. Then there came the news that Universal hero Kamala Hasan will play the villain role in the so called Enthiran 2. But that too not materialized as Kamal Haasan also withdraw from the project saying that he don’t want to play the villain character and also he is busy with some other projects here.
At last Shankar roped in Chiyaan Vikram who is now busy with the works of Vijay Milton directorial flick named 10 Ennarudhukkullai. And sources said that Vikram has agreed to play the villain in that Shankar film and news also says that it will not be the sequel of Enthiran. It will be a fresh film. But the official confirmation has still not come about this and we have wait till it happens.
