Vinayakan to play a major role in director Kamal’s next
Veteran filmmaker Kamal is once again set to team up with young talents. The director is known for introducing several actors through His upcoming movie is said to be a teenage love story. A bunch of youngsters will be making their debut in cinema with this movie. Along with the newcomers, the movie will also have actor Vinayakan as part of his cast. Details about his character is not yet known but it is said to be a major one. Shoot is scheduled to commence early next month in Lakshadweep.
Ever since his stunning State Award winning performance in Rajeev Ravi’s ‘Kammattipadam’, Vinayakan has been bagging a lot of promising projects. He is playing the lead in debutante Leela Santhosh’s period flick ‘Karinthantan’, which is based on the life of Wayanad’s tribal legend. In ‘Kismath’ fame Shanavas K Bavakutty’s next titled ‘Thottappan’, Vinayakan is playing the lead role of a girl child’s godfather
Vinayakan will also be seen as the prime antagonist in Gautham Menon’s spy-thriller ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ starring Vikram in the lead. The movie is expected to hit screens in the second half of the year.
