Vishal and Nayanthara in Shikkari Shambu’s remake?
Last day, we had reported about Kunchacko Boban’s upcoming release Shikkari Shambu getting remade in Tamil. The movie directed by Sugeeth is a fun filled entertainer. Kunchacko Boban, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Sshivada and debutante Alphonsa play the lead roles in the movie. If reports are to be believed, Vishal and Nayanthara are being considered for the Tamil remake.
Popular producer RK Suresh, who is playing the villain’s role in Shikkari Shambu, has reportedly acquired the movie’s Tamil remake rights. He decide to remake the movie after being impressed with the script written by Nishad Koya. He felt that the subject will appeal to the Tamil audience as well and hence has approached Vishal with the offer. An official confirmation regarding the same is yet to be given.
Shikkari Shambu marks the reunion of Kunchacko Boban with director Sugeeth and writer Nishad Koya after hit films like Ordinary and Madhura Naranga. Hareesh Kanaran, Krishna Kumar, Salim Kumar and, directors Aji John, Johnny Antony and MA Noushad are also part of the supporting cast.
Shoot for Shikkari Shambu has already been wrapped up and the team is currently busy with post-production works. Lawrence Angel Maria Films is producing this movie which is expected to hit screens early next year.
